Yale

We took a trip to Yale - it was surprisingly eventful and tons of fun.
The gothic architecture of every building gives more than a huge Harry Potter feeling to everything. It was only a few hours before someone asked the question everyone was thinking: Where do they keep the sorting hat? The entire campus is gorgeous! Here's a typical jump-in-front-of-this-archway picture:
Not only did we find fantastic deals at the New Haven Flea Market, (dirt cheap Ray-Ban AviatorsWayfarers and Burberry scarves - $5!) but we also took a college tour, consumed at least five pounds of fro-yo each, and ate fabulous dinners and lunches for three straight nights.

If you are ever visiting Connecticut, make it a must to stop by the Flea Market. You will find the best deals on everything imaginable - and who doesn't love a little negotiating?
As for the frozen yogurt... We've learned to pick the lightest weighing toppings to minimize every possible ounce on the scale (and definitely don't weigh the spoon).

Overall, it was a needed break to the stressful lives of two high school girls. As soon as we left, we were dying to go back! It may even have been possible that we gained the "freshman 15" not in freshman year of college, but for the 3 days that we visited college. Yes, that's right. Pizza and mint chip ice cream for breakfast.

May 30th, 2012

Picture of the day from your favorite people with lovely spring weather!
If pop culture has taught me anything in life, it's to wear what you want. Don't be afraid you're going to look weird or that you don't belong. People who judge you solely off your clothes are only jealous that they can't pull it off like you can. Or maybe it's that you look weird and don't belong. Either way, it doesn't even matter. Show who you are through your clothes. Does Lady Gaga look like she cares?
As a side note, take any and all comments on an outfit as a compliment. If somebody has taken time out of their day to assess your clothing choices, it must mean they've decided you're worthy of their opinion.
Smile and say, "thank you!".
Even if that somebody tells you,
"maybe you should've worn different boots with that...",
or even, "it looks like you cut up your drapes and made an outfit out of it".
Wear what you want. Clothing is a choice.

PS.  Check out summer's super cute haircut! And definitely ignore those great track sock tans...

An Awkward Hello

Welcome to our blog! Here's some funny videos to set the mood. Can't tell you what to expect because we're not too sure either. Remember... Roller skating today, college tomorrow!
Love,
Summer and Annie
